Alpha Phi Omega is a co-ed national service fraternity. Our cardinal principles include leadership, friendship, and service. We aim to serve the community and the university while forming lasting friendships through brotherhood events.
Tau Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega has been serving the University of Florida campus and the Gainesville community since its founding in 1931. Although the men and women who constitute Tau’s membership vary in age, background, area of study, and future plans, they have been brought together by their spirit for community service and commitment to excellence.
Tau Chapter maintains the UF Information Booth, located at the HUB bus stop at the corner of Buckman and Stadium Rd. (see map below). Brothers can usually be found here from 9am-4pm Monday thru Friday distributing printed information to and answering questions for students, faculty, and campus visitors. The Booth acts as the Chapter’s main office/headquarters, and on Saturday mornings it often serves as the meeting ground for service projects.
