Epsilon Iota’s pledge class service project made it into the Gainesville Sun!

Thanks to volunteers for all your help

The Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County wants to extend it’s sincere thanks to all of our volunteers.

Students helped us from multiple colleges, many of which connected with our agency through the Center for Leadership and Service and Multi Cultural and Diversity Affairs.

We also want to thank our group volunteers; those who participated in Gator Plunge, which was wonderfully handled by Cassidy Young through the Center for Leadership. These volunteers enabled us to fix up many child care centers to create better learning environments for young children.

We would also like to thank Ignite, led by David Vargas, and Alpha Phi Omega, led by Emily Sasser, who helped with two events we hosted for children and families.

The volunteers are mostly from the University of Florida and are critical to multiple agencies that serve the Gainesville community. They help us while gaining valuable experience and leadership skills to help secure better jobs; all which make the University of Florida look fantastic.

Please consider what these groups do as a serious part of their education and the university producing successful graduates.

As “Title Town” for sports and higher education, let’s show the world that we are also Title Town for community service and early learning.
